Future Travel is a new website for Centro which looks at the transport system, traffic congestion and enviromentally sustainable travel.
The website is aimed at 11-14 year olds and features videos, statistics and photographs intended to help students with research into sustainable travel.
The Yeti is Back!
Creating a festive Yeti game to replace our annual Christmas card is becoming quite a tradition!
This year you can dress Yeti up ready for his Christmas photograph. Hurry up though! He's not dressed yet and it's pretty cold up there on Yeti mountain.
New GSCE Electricity resource on sellafieldsites.com
LabMouse Electricity is a new resource in the LabMouse series, which has been widely used by teachers and students for many years.
Designed to support students studying GCSE Physics, it contains a mix of text explanations and short interactives, and can be used for whole-class teaching, or independent learning.
New resources for Boots supporting BBC Children in Need
We've just completed two online teaching resources on behalf of Boots to support BBC Children in Need.
Count On Me is for young children aged 5–7 and contains number games based on fundraising activities. The Needs Of Others is designed for older pupils aged 7–11, and stimulates discussion and classwork on the concept of 'needs'.
New STEM Resource
The Skills Factor gives pupils insights into how engineering solutions have been devised to overcome challenges in several exciting and important 'real world' scenarios.
This new interactive resource for 10-14 year olds was created for sustainability.sellafieldsites.com and contains 5 online units: Mission To Mars, We Are The Robots, Flood Alert, Fuelling The Future and Smart Structures.
